Annual Events

Family Health Expo

The Family Health Expo is a FREE annual event that has been coordinated by the Partnership for many years. The expo provides health screenings and educational materials to the general public.  Children enjoy fun activities and carnival games as well as demonstrations on safety.  The expo is supported by local businesses, organizations, and agencies.  The Family Health Expo provides many medical testing opportunities such as mammograms,  blood sugar, cholesterol, and vision screenings; and has more than 50 exhibits with information on accessing local resources to support family health and mental health.  Our 20th Annual Health Expo is scheduled for April 22, 2017 at Mineral Area College Field House from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

This year's theme is "Celebrating Health".

Season of Hope

Since 1999 St. Francois County Community Partnership has coordinated a county-wide effort to provide all the children of St. Francois County with a joyous holiday season.  Last year 1,356 children in St. Francois County were given a much brighter season because of the donations and efforts from this community.  Over the years it has been an incredible journey as friends and neighbors from every community have worked together to serve low-income families.  Many people have given generously to provide children with warm clothing, toys and gifts.  More importantly, this spirit of giving has provided HOPE.  Hope that tomorrow will be better.  Hope that our children’s lives will be rich and rewarding.  We invite you to join with us in support of  “Season of Hope.”
